Phonics
Today, we are learning another new sound from Set 3. If your child struggles with any of the sounds, please let me know so that I can support you.
Phonics lesson: Set 3 sound ‘ure’ - This sound will be uploaded at 9:30am, by Ruth Miskin. Please watch the speed sounds and then the spellings.
You will have 24 hours to watch it before the video is removed.
Phonics challenge: Can you use one of these words containing the special friend 'ure' to write your own sentence?
pure, sure, cure, picture, mixture, creature, future, adventure or temperature
You might want to have a look at Oxford Owl to support your child’s learning.
Remember to read every day!

Go for a walk around your local area. Please remember to socially distance. A few things to think about:
- What do you notice about your local area?
- What do the houses look like? Are any of the houses different?
- Are there any shops?
- Did you spot any wildlife?
Can you draw a picture of your favourite thing you saw on your walk?
PSHE
It is so important to stay healthy! You need to eat well, drink water, get lots of sleep, wash our bodies, brush our teeth and exercise.
Can you try to do all of these things today?
Maybe you could give your teeth another brush while listening to the brush your teeth song.
Stay Active
Exercise for 20-30 minutes. Go for a walk, run around, dance or play football. Anything that makes your heart beat really fast!
I certainly miss singing and dancing along to this with you all!
