Music

Listen to the song 'Livin' La Vida Loca' by Ricky Martin.

Do you like the song?
What instruments can you hear?

Listen to the song again and this time, see if you can find the pulse to the song and clap along. Remember: the pulse is like the heartbeat of the song, it is a constant beat throughout.

Listen to the song 'Jai Ho' by A.R. Rahman.

Do you like the song?
What instruments can you hear?
What do you think the style of song is?

While you are listening, can you clap to the pules? When you've clapped the pulse, can you think of any other movements to match the pulse?

Try jumping, clicking or dancing to the song.
