English

Capital Letters and full stops - Bitesize

We need to make sure that we use capital letters and full stops consistently in our writing. Ask your adult to write some sentences for you... Oh no! They haven't been into our Harrier Class so they don't know how to do capital letters or full stops. Could you get a coloured pencil and correct your adults work? The more practise you have the better you will get!

Wider Curriculum

Science Everyday materials

Do you know of any materials? Some materials include: glass, metal, plastic, rock, water and wood.

Can you match the labels to the materials?

Can you find different materials in your house and stick your own written labels onto them?

Music
 - In the Groove

Listen to B. B. King - How Blue Can You Get?

- Do you like the song?
- What can you hear?
- What is the style of music?
- How is the song put together? (Chorus, intro, verse, instrumental solo etc.)
- Can you find the pulse?

About the song - This is a classic blues song written by Riley B. King (born 16th September 1925), known by the stage name B. B. King. It is a slow blues written in 1964 and is a sad song about being downhearted in love.

B. B. King is an American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter. He has a sophisticated style of soloing based on string bending and vibrato and has influenced virtually every blues guitarist that has has followed.

Can you find any other blues songs with your adult?

Stay Active

Exercise for 20-30 minutes. Go for a walk, run around, dance or play football. Anything that makes your heart beat really fast!

Go Noodle - Banana Banana Meatball

Take care and stay safe,
