This week is National Storytelling Week
Why don't you have a go at storytelling as a family?
Ideas to try:
- In school we sometimes sit in a circle and ask each child to add a part/sentence of a story to help to create a made up story, the adults help to structure the story. The more you do it the better the children get and understand a story structure.
- Why not ask your child to tell you or their brother/sister their favourite story?
- Perhaps mum or dad could make up a story for bedtime?
