We are going to look at places of worship and what makes them sacred?

- Do you know what the underlined words mean?

Think of a place that is special to you. Can you picture it? Can you draw it? What makes it special to you?

Now look at these pictures and think about what is happening in them:

The people in the pictures are all worshipping.

Worship is acting in a way that shows respect or love to something or someone.

Now that you know what worship is, can you think of any places of worship and make a mind map? You could use the internet to help you.
