Today, we are learning another new sound from Set 3. If your child
struggles with any of the sounds, please let me know so that I can support
you.
Phonics lesson: Set 3 sound ‘are’ - This sound will be
uploaded at 9:30am, by Ruth Miskin. Please watch the speed sounds and then the
spellings.
You will have 24 hours to watch it
before the video is removed.

of the words you have practised containing the special friend 'are' to write
your own sentence?
You might want to have a look at Oxford Owl to support your
child’s learning.

RE
Now we have looked at lots of different places of worship, it is your turn to have a go at designing your own!
You will need to think about the places we have already looked at and the key ingredients of a place of worship.
Remember:
- They are places for prayer, worship and learning about a faith.
- They have special parts and objects to help this happen.
- How will you make your place of worship welcoming?
- Will any special events or celebrations happen at your place of worship?
You can use the template below or just draw your own.
