Here are your home learning tasks for today.

Please send me your home learning work by emailing me at:

Phonics

Phonics lesson: Set 3 sound ‘ea’ - This sound will be uploaded at 9:30am, by Ruth Miskin. Please watch the speed sounds and then the spellings.

You will have 24 hours to watch it before the video is removed.

Phonics challenge: Can you use one of the words you have practised containing the special friend 'ea' to write your own sentence?

You might want to have a look at Oxford Owl to support your child’s learning. If your child struggles with any of the sounds, please let me know so that I can support you.

If you don't have a ruler at home, you could make your own!

English

Look at our class text. You will notice that some words are now green and have been crossed out. Have a go at changing these words. I will then put our ideas together and create a new class text. Please send me these today so that I can prepare our new class text for tomorrow! You could challenge yourself and write out the whole text with your new ideas.

Here are some of our class ideas from this morning to help you. Come to the... museum, ice-cream van, jungle, safari, shop, park, North Pole, gym, farm, restaurant, moon, zoo or beach! You can choose one of these or think of your own.

Come to the Royal Ball!

Are you ever bored at the weekend? Do you need to get out and experience something new? Why not come and see royalty dancing elegantly in a grand ballroom? Come to Piccadilly Palace and enter a world of glitz and glamour!

Listen to the finest orchestra in the world!

Watch dainty feet gliding to the enchanting Viennese waltz!

Wonder at the unique stunning ball gowns!
