Thomas started the week by writing a list of all the activities he wanted to do at home this week. I love how he is writing for a purpose.
Next Thomas finished his model of Drax Power station by carefully painting the clay. It looks wonderful. Thomas likes to come here when he goes on walks with his Dad. He loves to watch the trains and other vehicles.
Thomas was really lucky to get an Alphablocks magazine this week. He not only completed the activities but he used the Alphablock tiles to help him spell lots of different words.
Thomas enjoyed designing and making his healthy pizza faces. I love how his design looks just like his pizza!
Thomas has completed some great maths this week. He drew some pictures of the Numberblocks, he wanted to get up to one million but Mum thought that they maybe wouldn’t get time. He completed the year one maths challenges and even made a wonderful symmetrical crown. Look how he is using the tape measure to measure exactly where each shape needed to go to make it symmetrical.
Thomas has been working ha on his reading and writing. He finished his reading comprehension and then wrote a brilliant story about Billy to finish his Talk4Writing booklet.
