Science

BBC - What should I do with my rubbish?

This week, can you help your adults to sort your rubbish?

Can you make a poster to inform and help others to know how important it is to sort our rubbish and to look after our planet?

Music

Listen to the song “Imperial March” by John Williams.

While you are listening, can you tell your grown up any of the instruments you can see being played?

Do you recognise the song from a film?

Now play the song again but this time, I want you to pretend you are a stormtrooper! Your job as a stormtrooper is to march in time with the pulse of the song. You might want to have a go at clapping the pulse first, to make sure you are in time with the music. Once you have found the pulse, march away stormtroopers! Good luck!

Extra challenge: Can you pick out any rhythms in the song?

Stay Active

Exercise for 20-30 minutes. Go for a walk, run around, dance or play football. Anything that makes your heart beat really fast!

Story Time

The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr - read by Miss Jackson

Take care and stay safe,

Miss Jackson
