English

Plan your own persuasive text. Have a look at the original text and think about the boastful and persuasive language that was used. Remember you want to make everyone in the world want to come! So, what can you say to make your place sound incredible?

Things to think about:
Come to the...
Where is the event?
What is going to be there?
Why should someone come?

You are just making a plan and then you will be writing your own persuasive text tomorrow. You might want to draw and label some ideas or write a list of things for you to remember.

History

We've been sent a letter!

Can you write back to Jane and tell her how different life is now?

Story Time

Elmer by David McKee - read by Miss Jackson

I love this book because it teaches us that it is great to be different. If we were all dull, grey elephants life would be very boring. At the beginning, Elmer thinks that being different is not okay but I really like how he learns that he is amazing just the way he is. I really love the pictures!

Have a think...
- What is your favourite book?
- Why is it your favourite book?
- Can you read your favourite book with your family?

Take care and stay safe,

Miss Jackson
