Cinderella is having a party and she needs to be the best dressed princess at the party.
Task: Draw a picture of Cinderella and design a dress for her to wear for her party.
Use your imagination. Is it just a normal dress or is it a special type of dress? Maybe there are wings hidden inside or perhaps it changes colour when she spins around. Try to think of your own ideas and create a spectacular dress to impress all of her guests!
Now, write in full sentences and describe the dress that you have created for Cinderella. I would like you to be creative with your words as well as your dress!
Try to avoid...'It is a nice, blue dress'.
Instead challenge yourself!... 'The dress that I have created for Cinderella, has long, sparkly sleeves and as she spins her dress will change from pink to gold. She will look very beautiful and elegant in her new, unique dress.'

History
Here are some pictures of outside Carlton Towers. Have you ever visited?
Look carefully at the pictures. One is from around the 1800s (which is about 200 years ago!) and one is from 2019.
Which one is which? What is similar about the two photos? Are there any differences?
Now look at this picture of a class of children who went to Carlton Primary in the 1930s (nearly 100 years ago!):
PE - Bat and ball skills
Note: Please don't panic if you do not have a bat or a ball at home... you could use a frying pan and a pair of socks! Be creative.
It is really important to warm up before we do PE to look after our bodies. You will feel a little warmer, you will feel out of breath and your heart will be beating faster.
Warm up
1. Find a space and walk around. Remember to look forwards and to get those arms moving!
2. Carefully jog around your space. Try to jog in different directions so you're not dizzy!
3. Touch the floor and jump up to reach for the sky 10 times.
4. Now jog a little faster.
5. Hop on one leg 10 times and then swap legs.
6. Now jog even faster!
7. Do 20 star jumps.
8. Now run as fast as you can! Make sure you don't bump into anything... or anyone!
Activity
Find a ball, an orange or a rolled up pair of socks. Can you balance your object on the palm of your hand? Now, try to walk around without dropping or holding onto the ball?
With a partner, throw and catch the ball. Remember to throw the ball underarm to your partner, look at where you want to throw the ball to, aim with your other arm and step your opposite foot forwards. When you catch, open your hands, watch the ball and bring the ball into your chest when catching.
See how many times you can throw and catch the ball without dropping it! If you drop it... start again from zero.
Cool down
1. Walk around in a space.
2. Take a deep breath in and count to 3 and then breath out. Do this 5 times.
3. Reach up, onto your tiptoes and try to touch the sky.
4. Gently give your arms a wiggle, your legs a wiggle and now wiggle all over!
